Marma Point Chikitsa Parts 1 & 2

12 contact hours of training in Marma Points; Theory, Technique and Practice Part 1 includes

• Marma of the Face, neck and head, demonstration and practice 
• Balance of the body's channels and systems with a nourishing and immune building sequence, (vata and pitta pacification) demonstration and practice 
• Energizing Sequence, (kapha pacification) demonstration and practice 
• Chakra Balancing sequence, demonstration and practice 
• Marma of the joints, experienced through movement (gentle yoga) practice 
• The 18 Yogic Marma Points experienced through Yoga Nidra practice
• Foundations of Yoga and Ayurveda including a review of elements, constitution (doshas), prakriti/vikruti, daily routine/circadian rhythms, with a focus on the sub-doshas and forms and functions of prana and the Ayurvedic view of wellness.
• Ayurvedic client assessment to determine appropriate protocol, adaptations and approaches based on the Ayurvedic framework. 
• Incorporation of subtle Ayurvedic modalities such as essential oils, small hand crystals tuning fork, and mantra chanting.
• Setting up the practice room, products, and oils. 
• Discussion, Sharing and Q&A 

12 CEU's for Yoga Alliance, CEBroker Approved Provider #50-19283, NCBTMB Approved Provider #1192 and NAMA-PACE for Ayurvedic Professionals, (approved by The National Ayurvedic Medical Association, NAMA) and Yoga Alliance.

• How the 107 Marma Points are classified according to the 5 Regions of the Body, demonstration and practice
• The 16 Channel Systems of Ayurveda and the corresponding 83 Marma points, demonstration and practice
• In-depth doshic theory with advanced content on the 5 sub-doshas for each dosha
• Specific Marma Points and their uses in the context of balancing the 5 sub-doshas for each dosha 
• 3 Doshic Balancing Sequences, demonstration and practice
• Technique and Theory on how to use  the hands and fingers
• Advanced pulse assessment that includes sub-doshas 
• Discussion, Sharing and Q&A

Pre-requisite: ChayaVeda Integrative Healing Art’s Ayurvedic Massage & Bodywork Marma Points Part 1
