Reviews:
“My experience of the program was absolutely fantastic. The practical knowledge and hands on experience were most valuable. I learned too much to list. It was very balanced and insightful curriculum that translated into a practical implementation of a professional practice. I envision integrating it In combination with my acupuncture and Chinese medical clinic. Chaya is very knowledgeable and giving.”
Angela Cabán, Charleston, SC, Doctor of Chinese Medicine
“This has been an amazing experience. Learning the different modalities has expanded my knowledge tremendously. I absolutely loved learning the difference in body types and the associated applications good for each. I learned the differences in Dosha, their respective treatments , contraindications for specific bodywork and more. The different oils and the difference in how oils are used specifically for certain Dosha for particular reasons. I learned that these treatments are far more than just a massage or something to relax with but treatments to enable wellness. I enjoyed learning about the different Doshas and the conditions that may be a tendency for them. I also found it fascinating learning about the contraindications and “why”.
Chaya was extremely knowledgeable and extremely patient. Her ability to convey what she was teaching is truly an art. She was able to impart so much information and made it easy and enjoyable to follow and remember.”
Tina Caruselle, Staten Island, NY, Registered Nurse
“This was an amazing experience, I learned that Ayurveda is a holistic approach and each program gave me more tools to layer in to meet my clients needs. There is quite a lot of information in the course. But it gives you multiple different approaches to treat an imbalance manifesting in the body. I feel comfortable in being able to assess and offer a body treatment to client. I felt that it was organized and moved at a nice pace. Chaya is kind, passionate and knowledgeable.”
Desiree Nardi, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, LMT & RYT
"My experience of the program was a spiritual experience, I most enjoyed the hands on treatments and preparations and preparing the products for body treatments and group learning. Chaya is very knowledgeable and dedicated."
Sheela Chokshi, Tamp, Florida, Integrative Medicine Physician & LMT

Reviews:
"This course was really great. I learned so much about the Dosha, great fluidity and loved the oil work and lymphatic drainage experience. I learned this is very sacred work I loved the style of work and the faster motions, the warm oil feels amazing."
Kelly Stoops, LMT, Palm Beach Gardens, FL
"This workshop was wonderful. I learned a lot about the Doshas, oils and lymphatic drainage. The lecture and actual practice were most valuable. I learned about the different types of Doshas, the root cause of disease and about our mind-body connection. I learned about the oils for the different Doshas and that I'm Vata with a little bit of kapha. I will definitely use the strokes in my normal massage practice and I hope to incorporate the dry gloves and oils too. I really liked the dry brushing gloves because it was so invigorating. I liked the hot oil too just because it felt so nice."
Wendy Fish, Massage Therapist, Ocala, FL
This workshop was quite rewarding, I valued the actual massage technique. It was a refresher for me with theory, but the practice was incredible!

Marma points (Marmani) are vital energy points on the body that are important junctures to the energy pathways for healing. The origin of acupuncture or shiatsu of Traditional Chinese Medicine, they are often compared, but though similar, the system and knowledge of Marma Chikitsa is the antecedent, that has been used as an assessment tool, and often referred to as tools for opening the doors of perception, as well as a therapeutic modality for healing body, mind and consciousness for thousands of years. Marmani are classified according to their location on the body, the tissue of which they are composed, and the effects felt if injured.
Ayurvedic massage therapy and Yoga Therapy are based upon the knowledge of these sensitive, vital anatomical points, where structures pulsate and pain can exist. They are reflex anatomical sites, where flesh, veins, arteries, tendons, bones and joints meet and connect by subtle channels similar to meridians that carry energy and impulses that vitalize us.
This program provides 12 contact hours in Marma Therapeutic Ayurvedic Massage where participants will learn several ways to incorporate Marma Chikitsa into their massage and yoga practice along with the Ayurvedic theory that supports safe, therapeutic and optimal practice and self care.
This treatment is performed fully clothed, on either a massage table, on the bed or on the floor on a mat.
You will learn how to incorporate essential oils, small hand crystals and/or a tuning fork, though these items are not required for class participation and training.
12 contact hours of training in Marma Therapeutic Ayurvedic Massage including:

Reviews:
"This course was wonderful! Most valuable to me was learning and experiencing the points, about the oils and remaining clothed." The demos and practice were great. Chaya was prepared, on time, friendly, and informed.
Aminta Gleim, LMT, Health Educator
"Great Introduction to working with Marmani. I liked the lecture of the background of how Ayurveda works, the experience of the marma points in the body were useful for understanding how they function. I also learned that Ayurveda is a lifestyle and that the more we understand it and apply it, the more harmonious we are with ourselves and the universe. Chaya is very knowledgeable and experienced, with an emotional depth and passion for her practice."
Amanda Bolk, LMT, RYT, Jupiter, FL
"This workshop was amazing! I loved the information that was discussed and put together beyond being able to experience the knowledge. Yoga + Massage + the Marma/Ayurveda will open a new opportunity for my professional life that I have not expected. Integrating what I have learned today will be easy and exciting. It was well put together."
Vayla, LMT, Yoga Nidra & Life Coach Astrologer, Tallahassee, FL
"I really enjoyed the format and the information. The most valuable were the variety of flows presented. I learned that Ayurveda has withstood the test of time. It is a whole system mind/body/spirit which I really felt aligned with this weekend. I most enjoyed the experience of marma, and working with others, I like the unity." Julia Pozios, Ayurvedic Practitioner, LMT, Hollywood, FL
"This was a great opportunity to do Ayurvedic anything for me! Chaya's teaching style is very open and easy to learn. The instruction of the massage and the step by step protocol, felt comfortable doing it in exact order, but able enough to create any of my own flow if needed. A great intro to the 3 types, V, P, K :) The class as a whole was extremely enjoyable." Justin Feusseur, LMT, Gaiensville, FL

Nadi Swedana is a steam treatment, using a traditional steam bath used to stimulate sweating and often utilizing essential oils or Ayurvedic herbs according to the person’s Ayurvedic constitution and condition.
This program provides 12 contact hours of hands on training in Udhvartana and Nadi Swedana Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork treatments , where students learn the Ayurvedic foundations, principles and theory that inform these modalities, and support effective and optimal therapeutic practice, including the benefits and contraindications, equipment, products, powders and oils, and the 10 Steps To Freedom with the Kosha Model to view the Ayurvedic Root Causes of Disease and Definition of Health.
Review
"This was an amazing program.
The feedback with my hands-on was helpful, and the course was extremely helpful. I would definitely use this for pain relief. I enjoyed being able to ask any questions and all of the topics that were covered. There is so much information and Chaya was very knowledgeable. I would love to study further with Chaya."
